As the CEO of Informatica Corporation and the President of Datarisk Canada, he has enriched organizations’ privacy and security, and as the co-founder and chairman of Knowledgeflow Cybersecurity Foundation, a Canadian nonprofit, he educates children and other vulnerable individuals about online safety and empowers them to thrive today and in the future.
Along with being an avid reader, Popa has authored of four books of his own, including The Canadian Cyberfraud Handbook: A Professional Reference (Thomson Reuters) and two of CPA Canada’s Privacy and Data Security books. Popa holds a Bachelor of Computer Sciences degree from York University as well as numerous certifications including CIPP, CISA, CISSP. CRMP, CRISC, PMP, and Secret (Level II).
